This listing is for 12 miniskeins and one 100g skein/hank of hand dyed sock yarn. It is a 4 ply blend of 75% superwash merino and 25% nylon.  The fingering weight yarn is 463yd per 100g, and DK weight is 245yd per 100g. Note: pictures may show more than one skein.

If you're looking for the perfect gift for the sock knitter in your life, check out this fun mystery kit!  I've dyed up a beautiful range of minis with a full-sized skein to match.  Inspired by the wintry woods around my own home, expect to see plenty of browns, greens, and golden yellows. Knit or crochet a color work shawl, striped socks, a fading hat, or whatever your creative mind can come up with!  You have the choice of 20g minis or 10g minis.  Each kit comes packaged in a drawstring fabric bag.  The minis are NOT individually wrapped. Note: I've included a grayscale photo in the listing to give you an idea of what to expect, but without spoiling the surprise! :)

The dyes were set and then washed and rinsed to remove any remaining dye. Minimal bleeding may occur, so I recommend hand washing projects separately in cold water and laying flat to dry. Please be aware that colors on your screen may not exactly match the colors in real life.

My yarn is hand dyed in very small batches. No two skeins are exactly alike, even from the same batch. If you are using multiple skeins for a project, I recommend alternating skeins (i.e. helical knitting).
