"Wooded Path in Pitlochry" Original Watercolor Painting

This signed original artwork by Lauren R. Cairns has been created with watercolor and ink.  It is approximately 5x7" and has been matted to 8x10".  A backing board has been included, but has not been framed.

This beautifully dappled path was photographed by Lauren while she hiked in Pitlochry, Scotland.

About the artist: Lauren is the yarn dyer behind Granite State Yarns.  While earning a bachelor's degree in Chemistry at the University of New Hampshire, she obtained a minor in art.  She has dabbled in many art forms over the years, and is enjoying having time to return to painting and drawing.  As with her hand-dyed yarns, Lauren is often inspired by the natural scenes and landscapes around her.
