Introducing the Granite State Yarns Mystery Mini Advent for 2025

Tucked beneath a snowy sky, where snowflakes drift like whispered wishes, lies a bundle of winter joy. This 24-day yarn advent calendar is filled with soft, hand-dyed mini skeins in dreamy shades of purple, pink, and blue.

Each day of December, unwrap a new surprise colorway. Whether you’re making socks, scrappy mitts, or just adding a little magic to your stash, the Winter’s Whisper Advent is here to keep you warm, inspired, and filled with wonder.

Each miniskein will be a 20g hank of hand dyed sock yarn: a 4 ply blend of 75% superwash merino and 25% nylon.  You have the choice of either fingering or DK: fingering weight minis are 92yd, and DK minis are 49yd. Each will be individually packaged and numbered. Each colorway will be different, but will coordinate for all sorts of mix-and-match possibilities.

I will also be adding a few small goodies here and there in the packages (think: notions and other little treats).

This is a preorder. All yarn will ship during the first week of November. Please order this separately from all other items.

The dyes are set and then washed and rinsed to remove any remaining dye. Minimal bleeding may occur, so I recommend hand washing projects separately in cold water and laying flat to dry. My yarn is hand dyed in very small batches. No two skeins are exactly alike, even from the same batch.
