This listing is for one sock set in your choice of sizes. You will receive a 100g/463yd fingering or 100g/245yd DK skein of hand dyed sock yarn AND a 20g contrasting mini in the same. This sock yarn is a 4 ply blend of 75% superwash merino and 25% nylon. Note: pictures may show more than one set.
The purple lilac is the state flower of New Hampshire. It blooms in the spring and brings a wonderful fragrance to the air. I'm lucky enough to have a few lilacs dotting my yard, and I can't wait for them to burst forth. I'm so in love with this flower that it graces my shop's logo, and so I had to dye up a sock set in its honor. "Purple Lilac" is full of purple and sage green speckles on a cream base. The coordinating mini is a beautiful tonal sage green. The dyes were set and then washed and rinsed to remove any remaining dye. Minimal bleeding may occur, so I recommend hand washing projects separately in cold water and laying flat to dry. Please be aware that colors on your screen may not exactly match the colors in real life.
My yarn is hand dyed in very small batches. No two skeins are exactly alike, even from the same batch. If you are using multiple skeins for a project, I recommend alternating skeins (i.e. helical knitting).
