Mini Kantha Quilt Art Craft Kit

Make your own mini Kantha quilt-inspired art!

Kantha quilting comes from India and Bangladesh, and this traditional craft uses layers of used fabric to bring new life to once-loved saris. By taking the fabric and stitching the thick layers together, warm quilts can be made.

Inspired by this lovely technique, I’ve put together these kits of fabric scraps and notions so that you can make your very own artistic piece. By playing with different colors and stitches, you’ll have a chance to relax and enjoy the process.

Each kit comes with either one 5.5” embroidery hoop or two 4” hoops. You’ll also receive two skeins of embroidery floss and enough fabric and felt scraps to complete your project. The colors will coordinate, and every kit is different. You’ll need to supply your own sewing needle, safety pins, and scissors.
