This listing is for a collection of hand dyed yarn/embroidery floss. It is a 2 ply lace weight made with a blend of 55% superwash British Bluefaced Leicester wool annd 45% Grade A mulberry silk. There is approximately 26yd per 3g skein.
This yarn is perfect for visible mending and for many embroidery methods. It is soft and shiny, and robust enough to use on clothing as well as delicate enough for more artistic pieces.
I’m currently dyeing these as limited edition batches, so please be sure to purchase enough for your intended project because these exact colors are unlikely to return. I dye these with a specific palette in mind, and blend my dyes so each batch works well with all of the other colors.
The dyes were set and then washed and rinsed to remove any remaining dye. Minimal bleeding may occur, so I recommend hand washing projects separately in cold water and laying flat to dry. Please be aware that colors on your screen may not exactly match the colors in real life.
My yarn is hand dyed in very small batches. No two skeins are exactly alike, even from the same batch.
