This listing is for one sock set in your choice of sizes. You will receive a 100g/463yd fingering or 100g/245yd DK skein of hand dyed sock yarn AND a 20g contrasting mini in the same. This sock yarn is a 4 ply blend of 75% superwash merino and 25% nylon. Note: pictures may show more than one set.
As the mother in a large family (my husband and I have 8 children!) I don't get to go on many vacations. Blessedly, we do live within driving distance of the Cape and have been able to have a number of nice "long weekend" trips in the shoulder seasons. I dyed this colorway as a reminder of those gorgeous weathered ocean blues and greens that remind me of beautiful Cape Cod. The main colorway is a subtle blend of beige/taupe, teals, and blues. The coordinating mini is a beautiful tonal taupe. The dyes were set and then washed and rinsed to remove any remaining dye. Minimal bleeding may occur, so I recommend hand washing projects separately in cold water and laying flat to dry. Please be aware that colors on your screen may not exactly match the colors in real life.
My yarn is hand dyed in very small batches. No two skeins are exactly alike, even from the same batch. If you are using multiple skeins for a project, I recommend alternating skeins (i.e. helical knitting).
