This listing is for one sock set in your choice of sizes. You will receive a 100g/463yd fingering or 100g/245yd DK skein of hand dyed sock yarn AND a 20g contrasting mini in the same. This sock yarn is a 4 ply blend of 75% superwash merino and 25% nylon. Note: pictures may show more than one set.

While dyeing up some preorders, I accidentally put a little too much red dye into the pan, leaving with me with bright pink yarn when I really wanted a very subtle pink tone.  Luckily for me, a mistake when dyeing is a great opportunity to try something new.  Thus, this colorway was born!

I've been reflecting on this Chesterton quote this week, and it really showed itself (albeit, in a tiny way!) when this dyeing mishap happened.  So, I named this colorway "Adventure" as a reminder to rightly consider the inconveniences in our lives!  The main colorway is a gorgeous blend of browns, greens, teals, and blues.  The coordinating mini is a beautiful tonal grayish-blue. The dyes were set and then washed and rinsed to remove any remaining dye. Minimal bleeding may occur, so I recommend hand washing projects separately in cold water and laying flat to dry. Please be aware that colors on your screen may not exactly match the colors in real life.

My yarn is hand dyed in very small batches. No two skeins are exactly alike, even from the same batch. If you are using multiple skeins for a project, I recommend alternating skeins (i.e. helical knitting).
