ChiaoGoo Interchangeable Needles QUICK Review
Share
I recently purchased this interchangeable needle set from ChiaoGoo after drooling over it for years. Here are my first impressions after using it for a few weeks and knitting one entire sweater and starting a second.
I've seen this set all over, and it is popular for a reason. The slick metal needles are the perfect balance of sharp, but not too sharp. The flexible cables are by far my favorites among all the circular needles I've used. They don't tangle up or kink.
My favorite aspect of this set is that the needles go down to size 2! I am primarily a sock knitter, and have lots of size 1 circulars, but my other interchangeable sets from KnitPicks only go down to size 4. Having those extra tips is SO useful, especially when I need to knit fingering weight yarn, but at a looser gauge than socks.
The price point is steeper than KnitPicks, but this set is also more versatile with a larger selection of tips. I prefer the 5" version because I like to knit with longer needles, but there is also a 4" version.
I also love the case. The print is beautiful and is nicely made. Everything feels like it's good quality and will stand up to years of use...which I definitely plan on doing!
