Introducing the Granite State Yarns Mystery Advent for 2024

This December, we'll be taking an adventure by railroad. Climb aboard, find a cozy seat, and enjoy the ride.

On December 1st, we'll open our packages to discover FOUR beautiful coordinating skeins.  Each one will be a 100g/463yd hank of hand dyed sock yarn: a 4 ply blend of 75% superwash merino and 25% nylon.  Each will be different, but will coordinate for all sorts of mix-and-match possibilities.

Would you like to knit a shawl?  Hats?  Socks?  Mittens?  Perhaps a sweater?  Your Advent project is completely up to you!  You can use the yarn however you want: we'll all find our own destination.

This is a preorder. All yarn will ship by October 15th.

In order to keep prices as low as possible, the yarn will be packaged very simply.

We can chat together on Ravelry (optional!) in the Granite State Yarns group here.  Pssssst....there will be prizes for participants, so stay tuned!  The official craft-a-long will begin December 1st, 2024 and finish up on February 2, 2025.

The dyes are set and then washed and rinsed to remove any remaining dye. Minimal bleeding may occur, so I recommend hand washing projects separately in cold water and laying flat to dry. My yarn is hand dyed in very small batches. No two skeins are exactly alike, even from the same batch.
